Higher Ground Assembly (HGA) is a Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of Godinaugurated on the 16th April 1996, registered as Company Limited by Guarantee and Charity Organisation in the year 2000. HGA is community based, it has grown from a small group to a congregation of more than 200 committed members and still growing. HGA is a family oriented community based and multicultural Parish with the aim to work with the community leaders in:
Prevention of crime Counselling the youth, the drug abuse and the homeless Breaking down the barriers of colour, race, class, language ethnicity etc.

Working with relative organisations in the borough in order to make the Borough a better place to live in.

To provide nursery creche as a means of assisting mothers working or returning to work. To provide after school club for the youth.

To provide for the needs of the elderly, homeless and destitute. Care for the elderly, the vulnerable and people with disability.

The Church is being financed through donations in form of tithe and offering from members and philanthropists.
